I was a colleague of Daniel’s at the charity WaterAid and since then have been a client of his at Stroke Association. We found Daniel through a Google search for CRO experts. After talking with most of the CRO’s found through search we decided that Daniel was… the best choice and match for the Blue17 website. With Daniel having experience working in the charity sector, non-profits and NGO’s – and with us being in the recycling industry – we felt Daniel would be well equipped to understand our online ecommerce business core values and it’s development needs. With little experience with analytics data, we were looking for a CRO with good experience and solid performance results to help drive our e-commerce forward. Daniel is able to communicate clearly and explain in detail at all stages of the digital web analytics project and as a result the concepts became easier to understand as the project developed. From data analysis from Google Analytics, to funnel visualizations, implementations, tagging and tag management and best practice CRO website improvements, Daniel was able to construct a detailed CRO roadmap for our project. In addition, Daniel is able to communicate very efficiently and clearly with the site developers to facilitate the whole process of smooth interaction between multidisciplinary skillsets in the implementation of the CRO roadmap. This in itself is a valuable asset with time being saved and priorities established and implemented. Daniel has also set up comprehensive A/B and multivariate testing across the site and in Google Optimize, with these guiding the process of development and implementation on the site. It’s clear that Daniel has a wealth of experience and insight that is an essential asset to any committed website owner. It’s surprising that many webmasters seem to ignore the requirements for data analytics and CRO prior to website design and SEO campaigns. In retrospect, we would have benefited greatly through working with Daniel some years ago, with data informing decisions rather than guesswork. Without good and accurate data and insight to make improvements, making any changes on a website are just random and improperly informed.
